Kelly Johannes (b. 2002), an Estonian classical guitarist currently based in the Netherlands, active as a soloist and chamber musician.
She performs regularly with ensembles such as “Duo GuitArr.” (guitar duo), “Duo 12-21” (classical/electric guitar duo), and “Duo Nörd.id” (trumpet & guitar) and others.
Alongside classical performance, she also enjoys for example, playing flamenco and electric guitar out of a genuine passion for different genres.
She enjoys arranging, composing, and exploring creative possibilities with live looping to build rich, layered soundscapes.

Soprano Ana-Carmen Balestra, cellist and singer Hadewych van Gent, and guitarist Kelly Johannes perform a special program blending South American, French, and Spanish influences. The unique combination of vocals, cello, and guitar creates an intimate and colorful musical world rich in passion and melancholy.
From swinging classics like Besame Mucho and Dos Gardenias to the moving sounds of Alfonsina y el Mar and music by Piazzolla, Fauré, and Villa-Lobos: the trio takes the audience through well-known melodies and hidden musical gems.

SOOP Evening Concert
Working local residents can now also enjoy our concerts.
The evening begins with soup and bread starting at 5:30 PM.
At 7:00 PM, there is a performance by the guitar duo “12-21” (Bárbara Macedo and Kelly Johannes). They will play 2 sets: the first featuring music for classical guitar, and the second with pieces for electric guitar. Music by J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Radiohead, and others.

The finalists will perform on Saturday 19 September at Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan in Almere during Festival Het Groene Geheim (programme between 16:00 and 21:00).
